The Oregon State University Presidential Scholarship
The Presidential Scholarship is our most prestigious award and Presidential Scholars are part of a select group of future Beavers.
About the Award
The Presidential Scholarship awards up to $40,000 ($10,000 per year, renewable for up to four years total) to new resident freshmen students attending the Corvallis or Bend campuses.
Additional Benefits
- There are benefits only available to Presidential Scholars to help amplify the first-year experience here at OSU-Cascades. In addition to the scholarship, other perks include:
- Waived $50 housing contract signing fee (automatically applied)
- Exemption from paying the Advance Tuition Deposit (must request via ATD waiver form in Beaver Basecamp)
- Priority access to START orientation (Presidential Scholars are given advance access before it opens to all students.)
- Presidential Scholars receive priority START access beginning Thursday May 2 at 2 p.m. Pacific. This will be available in your Beaver Basecamp.
- One year of a gear storage locker ($50 value) in the residence hall.
- Must have a signed housing contract and request the storage locker by emailing bendbeavs@osucascades.edu by June 1.

Confirming your enrollment must be completed by published deadlines (June 1 for new students entering in the Fall term; For Winter, Spring and Summer Terms, the ATD is refundable until three weeks before the start of the term) to secure your spot in the incoming class.
