Commencement Traffic Update: Leave Early, Follow Detour
Due to a weekend triathalon event in Bend, road closures, including a portion of SW Century Drive, are planned near the OSU-Cascades campus beginning 6 a.m. on June 18.
Allow extra time for travel and follow these travel recommendations:
We know that family and friends are important to our students. We have an initial maximum of 12 tickets per graduate. Tickets will be available for pickup at Tykeson Hall. Gates open at 9 a.m. for the event.
Accommodations for disabilities may be made by calling 541-322-2023. Learn more
Commencement will be held at OSU-Cascades. Go here for directions and parking.
Click here for a list of items not allowed into the event.
We love dogs as much as you do, but please respect that this is a no-dog event.
Balloons are not allowed as they obstruct the view of other guests.
No drones (except those approved for use by OSU-Cascades marketing and communications staff) are permitted on the property for this event.
In line with our sustainability efforts we encourage all of your guests to bring their own reusable water bottles. No fill sites will be available.
Concessions will not be available, however there are a variety of restaurants around and near campus.
Weather in Central Oregon can be unpredictable. To ensure a comfortable commencement, consider dressing in layers. Bring sunscreen, hats, and other items to shade from direct sunlight. Due to the unique climate of Bend, it can be windy, and may be a little dusty at the Oval Green.
