Commencement 2020 Postponed

Based on input from students, OSU-Cascades is postponing its commencement ceremony until a later date. This decision is in keeping with OSU’s measures to help reduce the risk and spread of COVID-19 and is in compliance with Gov. Kate Brown’s executive orders to address the pandemic. University leaders will provide details regarding the rescheduled commencement ceremony as soon as possible.

We know that family and friends are important to our students. We do not cap the number of guests a student can bring.

Tips for a Comfortable Commencement

Weather in Central Oregon can be unpredictable. To ensure a comfortable commencement, consider dressing in layers. The Les Schwab Amphitheater is located on the Deschutes River in the heart of the Old Mill District. Due to the unique climate of Bend and the riverfront location, the amphitheater can be windy.
