Allergens

At OSU-Cascades Dining Services, we take food allergies and dietary restrictions seriously.

We recognize the importance of providing accurate allergen information to our customers, and we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive dining environment.

Our menus are designed to accommodate a variety of dietary needs, including food allergies and sensitivities. We use best practices to prevent cross-contamination, such as separate cooking surfaces and utensils for allergen-free meals.

Please inform our staff of any allergies or dietary restrictions when you order, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that our meals are completely free of allergens.

We encourage our customers to review our allergen information, which is available on our website and in our dining locations. If you have any questions or concerns about allergens in our food, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Allergy Disclaimer

At OSU-Cascades we are committed to identifying ingredients that may cause reactions for those with food allergies and intolerances. We train employees on safe handling procedures to minimize risk; however, because foods are prepared in a commercial kitchen, there is always some risk of cross contact of allergens and gluten. Consumers should also be aware of the risk that manufacturers of the commercial foods OSU uses may change the formulation of ingredients or substitute other ingredients at any time, without notice.

Student Resources

OSU-Cascades Student Dietary Needs Form: This form allows residents to share their dietary needs so that the OSU-Cascades Dining Services team can connect with you to share resources and options available. This form also outlines the process for disability or medically necessitated accommodation requests. The dietary needs data collected informs the dining program what the dietary needs are so that dining services can adapt their menus and offerings to meet the needs of the residents we are serving.
