EDGE Catering: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The guaranteed number of guests must be submitted on CaterTrax 10 days prior to your event. Special menus may require an earlier submission.

  1. Register an account with CaterTrax (link is external).
  2. Add an OSU-Internal Billing Code.
  3. Browse the menu and build your cart.
  4. Check out and select your event day(s) at least 10 days in advance.
  5. Confirm your order and you're all set!

Yes! You can request changes through CaterTrax. The catering manager will review and approve or deny your changes based on the request details.

We take food allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. All allergens are clearly marked on our menus to ensure guests are informed about potential allergens in each dish. If you have specific concerns or need further clarification, please reach out to our team at catering@osucascades.edu prior to placing your order, you can also read more about our allergen information on our Allergens page. We are committed to accommodating your needs and ensuring a safe dining experience for all your guests.

Clients will receive their final invoice after the event has concluded. Catering charges will be added to the final invoice sent by the A&R Department. 

"OSU will assess final charges after departure and will send Purchaser an invoice showing the final charges within 30 days of departure. All invoices will be sent via email to Purchaser. All fees and charges are due within 30 days of the invoice date. Purchaser may contest any charges within 14 days of the invoice date. In such event, uncontested charges, if any, shall remain due payable within 30 days of the invoice date. After 45 days, OSU may assess the overdue account 2/3 of 1% per month or 8% per annum on the outstanding balance."

EDGE Catering Alcohol Service FAQ

Yes, EDGE Catering offers beer, wine, and cider service for approved events. Hard liquor is not permitted.

A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required for EDGE Catering to complete the necessary paperwork and obtain approval from OSU Risk Management.

No, alcohol service is prohibited during university business hours (8 AM – 5 PM).

No, EDGE Catering does not offer cash bars. Alcohol service is either hosted (prepaid by the client) or ticketed.

  • Up to 2 hours of alcohol service
  • 1 bartender per 50 guests ($35/hour per bartender, 3-hour minimum)
  • Beer, wine, and cider selections
  • Non-alcoholic options: Infused water, canned sparkling beverages, and your choice of seasonally flavored lemonade or locally sourced iced tea
  • Setup and cleanup time

Yes, a $50 OLCC License Fee applies to all alcohol service events.
