OSU-Cascades Engine Test Cell

Lab overview: The OSU-Cascades engine test cell is built around a 125 hp motoring engine dynamometer controlled by a variable frequency drive. Our facility is well suited for testing advanced combustion concepts which are a result of either combustion modes (e.g., low-temperature combustion) or fueling approaches (e.g., multi-fuel or unconventional fuels). We are able to accommodate a range of internal combustion engine sizes and types.

The Energy Systems Lab is located within Central Oregon Community College (COCC) automotive technician shop.
