Congrats Bend Beaver! We are thrilled you are joining us at OSU-Cascades.

TRANSFER STUDENTS: Use your admission portal, Beaver Basecamp, to view and complete next steps in the enrollment process.

1. Register your ONID account

2. Register for Duo

DUO provides secure two-step verification for your student records. Sign up for Duo

3. Pay your Advance Tuition Deposit (ATD)

In your Beaver Basecamp account you will find a link to confirm your enrollment and pay the Advance Tuition Deposit. The ATD applies to all newly admitted students and is your official way of confirming your intent to enroll at OSU payable through Beaver Basecamp. Exemptions to the deposit are available to qualified students as well as options to defer your admission to a later term.

4. Apply for financial aid
  • To be considered for financial aid from federal and state sources, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (fafsa.ed.gov) and list Oregon State University as one of your first six choices, with Federal School Code 003210. For the best chance of receiving aid, you should submit your FAFSA to OSU by February 1.
  • Accepting Financial Aid: If you submitted your FAFSA, you will receive a Financial Aid Award Offer. This letter outlines your financial aid package listing the financial assistance Oregon State can offer to help bridge the gap between your own resources and the cost of attending Oregon State. You can accept, reject, or revise your Financial Aid Award through MyOregonState by completing the following steps:
    • Go to MyOregonState and login with ONID credentials
    • Select the Paying for College
    • Select Financial Aid Awards
    • Select the appropriate year
    • Review your Terms & Conditions by selecting the Terms and Conditions
    • Select Accept Award Offer
    • Make your decisions about the aid that you want
    • Click Submit when done

5. Apply for other scholarship opportunities

The OSU Admission Application included a scholarship section that covers the majority of OSU's various scholarship opportunities. Some OSU colleges and academic departments offer scholarships to students majoring in their programs. You should contact your major department for availability. Additional OSU scholarships can be found in ScholarDollars.

6. Register for New Student Orientation

Transfer START (new student orientation) is an opportunity for new OSU-Cascades students to come meet with an academic advisor based on the major you state when you sign-up for orientation, and register for courses. You will be invited to attend orientation once the Advance Tuition Deposit (ATD) is paid and all official transcripts have been received. START registration is available in Beaver Basecamp.

7. Order Your Books!
  • OSU-Cascades does not have a physical bookstore on campus. You will need to purchase or rent textbooks online through the OSU Beaverstore Bookstore. Note: Be sure to select to have them delivered to you. Do not select on campus pick up as the bookstore is located in Corvallis
  • Faculty will expect that students have course materials by the first day of class.
  • Textbooks link is on class schedule, posted on Canvas and MyOregonState.edu -> View My Textbooks
  • If you are in DPP and OSU is your home school, you do not have a bookstore credit at COCC's bookstore.
