Book our brand-new residence hall for summer adult and youth conferences.

Conveniently located on campus, our Residence Hall provides a welcoming home where guests can enjoy state-of-the-art accommodations with a traditional residence hall feel during the summer. We offer a wide range of lodging options from single rooms with private baths to 2-bedroom apartments. Our Residence Hall offers secured building/room access, Wi-Fi, laundry rooms, study lounges, community kitchens and lounges, and fitness center.

Laundry Rooms

  • 4 (Four) Washers and Dryers are FREE to use to conference guests
  • Guests must supply detergent, or purchase in the Beaver Dam

Study Rooms

  • These rooms are available for:

Parking

Fees

  • Parking Fees for ConferenceGuests are covered by the contract.
  • Guests may pay for day parking using the pay station located in front of Tykeson Hall

Conference Meals

Paying for your meal:

  • Residence Hall Key Cards double as your meal card
  • The balance of the card will be set by the group coordinator
  • As a conference guest you have the option to spend your OWN money to purchase non-essential items:
    • Hydroflasks
    • OSU-Cascades Gear

 

Beaver Dam Hours:

During the Term:

Monday-Friday

  • Breakfast: 7:30am - 10am
  • Lunch: 11am - 2pm
  • Dinner: 5pm - 7pm

Saturday & Sunday

  • Brunch: 10am - 2pm
  • Dinner: 5pm - 7pm
  • Study Grounds Coffee Shop: Closed

WiFi

  • All rooms throughout the building have WiFi
  • WiFi network is "Visitor," accept the terms, and begin using


Alcohol & Drug Policy

  • NO Hard Alcohol allowed (must be under 30 proof/15%).
  • Alcohol may ONLY be consumed in Residence Hall private rooms, by persons 21 and over.
  • Alcohol may NOT be consumed or stored anywhere outside of private rooms. Do NOT store alcohol in the kitchen refrigerator or the windowsill of your room.
  • Marijuana and paraphernalia, are strictly prohibited anywhere on OSU-Cascades property. Violation will result in removal from the Residence Hall.
  • OSU-Cascades is a Smoke Free and Tobacco Free Campus. No smoking of any substance, including Vape Pens, and no Tobacco products may be consumed.


Common Areas

  • Keep your room key with you whenever you leave your room.
  • Access to the residence floors via the elevator or central stairwell are card access only. You MUST scan your room card to access these areas.
  • Each floor has a common lounge and kitchen available for Conference Guests use
  • Please observe Quiet Hours: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-10am; Friday-Saturday 12am-10am


Parking

  • Supply your License Plate numbers to Conference Services Staff at time of Check-In or on the first day of your stay. You may begin parking on the campus lot without issue.
  • If you do NOT supply a license plate number at the time of check in, please pay at the kiosk located in front of Tykeson Hall.


Check-Out Process

  • Remove all personal items from your room.
  • Empty your room trash in hallway receptacles near the elevator.
  • Place all linens into the marked bin in hallway near the elevator (if applicable).
  • Deposit your room key on the 1st floor in the white box mounted on the wall near the front desk.
  • (There is a $25 FEE for each lost or unreturned cards).


Safety & Security

  • DO NOT prop any doors in the Residence Hall Building.
  • If you bring a guest you must accompany them at all times in the Residence Hall.
  • In the event of an EMERGENCY call 9-1-1
  • If you experience or witness anything suspicious or concerning contact:
  • CAMPUS SAFETY by calling (541) 322-3110
  • If you lock yourself out of your room or have a concern about the facility contact:
  • An RA (Resident Assistant) by calling the RA Duty Phone at (541) 640-9963
  • For everyone's safety DO NOT undo the window safety latch in your room unless there is an emergency.


Linen Packs

  • If linens are included in your conference package you will find them in an orange bag on your bed.
  • If linens need to be washed during your stay, there is a laundry room on every floor washers and dryers are free.
    • Detergent is not provided, but is available for purchase in the Beaver Dam in Obsidian Hall or a local store.
