OSU-Cascades ID card access to mailboxes and drop slots: Sunday-Saturday: 6 a.m. to Midnight.

The Mail & ID Center is located in the Residence Hall (enter through the breezeway).
A: All persons applying for an OSU ID card must come to the Mail & ID Center in person and present proper identification (Valid Driver's License, State ID Card, Military ID, Passport, or Residence Alien Card) for card issuance. You will receive your OSU-Cascades ID card directly after your photo is taken. If you are a new employee to OSU-Cascades, you will be issued an ID card on your first day of work.
A: Your first ID card is free of charge.
A: Yes, your photo will be taken at the time you pick up your ID. Please do not wear a hat, sunglasses, or any other item/clothing that obscures your face.
A: Please do not punch holes in your ID Card. There is electronic circuitry in the card and punching holes (even outside the area of the chip) will damage it.
A: Lost or stolen ID cards should be immediately reported to Public Safety to protect your card account from unauthorized use. Any use of funds before a lost card is reported to Public Safety is the responsibility of the cardholder.
A: A replacement card costs $25 and can be printed at the Mail & ID Center.
A: If you have found an ID card please turn it in to the Mail & ID Center or Public Safety and we will notify the card holder.
A: Your ID card serves as your official identification as an OSU-Cascades student, employee, authorized contractor or associate. Your ID will also serve the following functions:
• Electronic access to buildings and key boxes using contactless technology
• Payment for goods from authorized OSU-Cascades vendors
• Payment for printing from automated printing stations
• Present to borrow and request items at the OSU-Cascades Library
• Present as a Cascades East Transit (CET) pass CET Public Transit
• Present for event attendance
• Payment for purchases in the Beaver Dam café and Study Grounds coffee shop*
*with an Orange Cash debit plan online at OSU MyCard
A: ID Cards that are determined to have malfunctioned due to a manufacturing flaw or age will be replaced free of charge. Cards should last for approximately four years without the need for replacement.
