Cascades East Transit

Cascades East Transit (CET) provides bus service to the OSU-Cascades campus and around town. An OSU-Cascades ID card with a current sticker gives you free access to all Bend routes. The Mt. Bachelor and Community Connector buses are not included. Stop by the mail room in the residential hall, or the information desk in the Dining Hall to get your sticker.

Transit riders in Bend can ride routes 7, 10, 11, or 12 directly to campus (no transfer required).

A brief summary of the service is below, and detailed schedules and route maps are available online at

CET Route 7

  • The Route 7 bus picks up passengers in NE Bend and becomes either a route 10 or 11 bus at Hawthorne Station (no need to transfer). 
  • To return to NE Bend from campus, catch the Route 10 or 11 bus on campus and it will become Route 7 at Hawthorne Station.

CET Route 10

  • Provides shuttle from the free long-term parking lot to OSU-Cascades
  • Picks up on Simpson Avenue in advance of the Columbia Street intersection at :37 after the hour
  • Stops on Century Drive in front of the residential hall.
  • Operates Monday-Friday from 6:37 a.m. to 6:37 p.m.

CET Route 11

  • Provides shuttle from OSU-Cascades to long-term parking
  • Picks up on Columbia Street, just south of the Simpson Avenue intersection
  • Stops at campus along Chandler Avenue (near Yates Dr.) and on the east side of Century Drive (across the street from campus)
  • Operates Monday-Friday at :08 after the hour, from 6:08 a.m. to 7:08 p.m.
  • Operates Saturday at :38 after each hour, from 7:38 a.m. to 4:38 p.m.

CET Route 12

  • Provides service from OSU-Cascades to the Graduate & Research Center, the free long-term parking lot and Central Oregon Community College every 30 minutes.
  • Picks up at :25 and :55 after each hour from 6:25 a.m. to 7:25 p.m.

CET operates the Community Connector services between Bend and neighboring communities as far as Warm Springs and La Pine. If you are regularly relying on these services, please contact to learn more about adding this service to your free bus pass.

CET Snow Schedule

CET will announce a service alert on its website and through its text alerts. To get text alerts, text "CET" to 313131. 

When CET operates on snow schedules, here are a few tips:

  • Routes 10 and 11 buses will leave Hawthorne Station at the hour and will make stops along the route in order, but arrival times will vary based on traffic flow.
  • Route 12 bus will leave OSU-Cascades at :25 minutes after the hour and do one loop to COCC and back on the established route. The bus will not pick up at campus at :55 after the hour or any other stops usually served before :25 after each hour.

COCC Shuttle

COCC offers a free campus shuttle service fall through spring terms on the COCC campus. The 12-person bus features a wheelchair lift, bike rack and automatic chains. 

Beginning at the corner of College Way and Newport Avenue, it transports passengers up the hill to the campus and circles the campus, stopping at key campus locations.
