We acknowledge that for many, a student going to college is not just a major life transition for the student, but also for the parents or families of that student. OSU-Cascades Residential Education and Housing staff partners with family members to help students achieve success at OSU-Cascades.
Privacy
- Federal privacy laws don't allow university staff to share student records with parents or families without written consent from the student, including grades and accounts. If a student wants to share their student records, they must complete a release of information that specifies what can be shared.
- We recognize the importance of family relationships, and strive to provide as much information as possible to parents and families, so that they can contribute to their students' experiences at OSU-Cascades.
