Information found on this website is meant to be helpful and guide you in supporting your student and their success. We believe the more informed you are about OSU-Cascades, the better resources you can be for your students. The Office of Student Life at OSU-Cascades will be developing Parent & Family information and programs on an annual basis, and always welcomes new ideas. We offer some programs and resources and can also help refer to you a more appropriate resource if needed.

Saturday, October 7

We are bringing back Discovery Day, our 1/2 day free community event with amazing talks from OSU faculty, research demonstrations, kids activities and more!  We have also added a few new community events, as well as our Parent & Family brunch brought to you by the OSU Foundation.

9 - 10:30 AM - Parent & Family Brunch

10 AM - 4 PM - Discovery Day

11 AM - 6 PM - First Peoples of Central Oregon Cultural Experiences

12:05 PM - Oregon State vs. Gonzaga (Exhibition Baseball)

1 - 1:50 PM - Meet the Chancellor, Study Grounds, Obsidian Hall

 

Sunday, October 8

On the final day of Parent & Family Weekend, we invite you to go grab breakfast on your own, and then meet us for a fun concluding wellness activity called the Discovery Dash!  Programming will conclude at noon, but we encourage you to spend time on campus and in the community to round out your weekend.
