Bridge to Success

To better serve the evolving needs of the many qualified students who dream of earning a college degree from the Corvallis and Cascades campuses, the OSU Bridge to Success program has been redesigned, and new students who join the program in Fall 2024 will enjoy the following benefits:
Financial Benefits
- Bridge to Success participants receive financial support that includes enough federal, state, and institutional grants and scholarships to cover the full cost of basic tuition and fees at OSU*
- Offer of on-campus student employment for qualified applicants
- Eligibility to waive the $200 Advance Tuition Deposit (ATD)
Housing and Dining Benefits
- Priority access to affordable on-campus housing options
- Economical meal plan options
Academic Benefits
- Participants will be paired with a peer mentor if admitted to OSU-Cascades TRIO. Apply online.
- Dedicated advising resources through your academic major or the University Exploratory Studies Program.
To be considered, a new student must meet the following criteria:
- Oregon resident
- On time applicant (submitted application by Feb. 1 priority admissions deadline and required documents to complete application submitted by Feb. 15)
- Is admitted to OSU with a 3.4 cumulative high school GPA or higher
- Submits FAFSA by OSU's Feb. 28 financial aid priority deadline (Fall 2024 FAFSA deadline is May 31).
- Is Pell Grant eligible and is anticipated to qualify for the Oregon Opportunity Grant (state need-based grant)
- New students selected for Bridge to Success are notified via Beaver Basecamp (admitted student portal) and by email. Notifications will begin in May after financial aid offers have been sent out.
No changes are being made to the benefits available to OSU students who joined the Bridge to Success program prior to Fall 2022
