Academic Leadership Council

Academic Leadership Council (ALC) Roll

The Academic Leadership Council is responsible for the development of academic strategies to support OSU-Cascades’ goals in Prosperity Widely Shared. This includes all aspects of academic programs—curriculum proposals, changes, experiential learning, career development, philanthropic strategies, space and building needs and uses, equipment needs, academic budget priorities, and more. While the Academic Leadership Council sets overall strategy, the Academic Programs Committee (APC) is charged with reviewing curriculum-related matters in detail and making recommendations to the Council. The Academic Leadership Council will refer proposals impacting other aspects of campus to the Cabinet for discussion and review to identify issues, opportunities, and missing considerations. The Council is the primary strategy-setting body for the campus.
