Description
The Oregon State University-Cascades Safety Advisory Committee (SAC) supports a safe and healthy campus environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Operating in accordance with Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Oregon OSHA) regulations, the SAC serves as an advisory body and an extension of Oregon State University's University Health and Safety Committee (UHSC) at the OSU-Cascades campus. The committee provides a forum for identifying and discussing health and safety concerns, reviews campus safety policies and practices, promotes safety awareness and shared responsibility, and provides recommendations to campus leadership and the UHSC on matters affecting the health, safety, and well-being of the campus community.
